Responsibilities
Working on existing and developing new foundation-AI models using CNNs, ensemble learning methods, and multi-modal approaches for image scene classification, object detection, and feature extraction
Engage in full data life cycle projects focused on real-world issues, utilizing multi-spectrum Earth Observation and multi-source datasets
Computational tasks and meticulous daily documentation and technical writing
Assisting the Director on various geospatial-AI projects that involve analytical tasks using Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and multi-modal approaches through ensemble learning methods
Submitting detailed technical reports and deliverables promptly to the assigned cloud storage
Additional administrative tasks as assigned by the Director
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Master's or Graduate degree program in Data Science or AI Engineering
Proficiency in analysis, programming, neural networks, reporting
Passion for working with satellite datasets
Must have valid U.S. work visa to be eligible to apply
Elevated level of skills in project task interpretation and skill sets
Capable of working independently or with minimal guidance and demonstrate elevated levels of engagement and proactiveness
Be result oriented
Be able to write detailed and accurate documentation that can be read by both technical and non-technical readers
Possess an elevated level of passion for research, and possess qualities such as honesty, integrity, and diligence
Preferred
Current undergraduates enrolled in related courses or majors such as Data Science and AI
