Responsibilities
Performs maintenance and repair on wind turbine power generation equipment with qualified leader experience
Travels extensively with little or no notice within the entire company fleet
Performs electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting; assesses damage; and conducts repairs on structural components of wind turbine blades, as well as maintenance, rigging, and operation of blade repair platforms and boom trucks
Maintains all company supplied equipment, facilities, and tooling
Provides oversight to other personnel and serves in the capacity of Safety Mentor
Participates as a team leader by organizing pre and post job meetings, communicating with site management, and ordering parts/materials
Applies a general understanding of all technical and process functions as well as a solid understanding of the Quality Improvement (QI) process
Leads daily crew meetings
Ability to meet attendance requirements
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Grad / GED
Experience: 1+ years OR completion of a technical certificate/degree program
Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
Post-Offer Functional Capacity Evaluation
Preferred
Associate's or Equivalent Experience
Trade School Graduate
Experience: 2+ years
Commercial Driver's License
Certified Hazardous Materials Manager
