Responsibilities
Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory
Support efforts to ensure performance, reliability, security, and compliance in data engineering solutions
Collaborate with team members to implement technical direction and contribute to platform‑level decisions
Participate in delivering releases aligned with business goals, technical standards, and governance policies
Contribute to improvements in system reliability and maintainability through documentation and code quality practices
Participate in agile processes, including sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives
Qualification
Required
2 years of relevant experience required
Experience with cloud engineering across Azure or AWS and Databricks required
Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office products (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Advanced proficiency in programming, such as, Python, R, Snowflake, GitHub, and SQL required
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib
Proficiency in data modeling and big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
Proficiency in data privacy regulations such as DGPR and CCPA
Clear understanding of data warehouse concepts and ETL processes
Preferred
Exposure to enterprise data pipelines, databases/data warehouses, and system integrations (APIs, ETL, middleware) preferred
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
