Minuteman Press is a high volume and well established printing business seeking Prepress and Graphic Design Professionals with recent professional print production and design experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite and responsible for typesetting, page layout, and ensuring client projects exceed expectations.

Business DevelopmentPrinting

Responsibilities

General typesetting and page layout of customer projects from business cards to banners
Preparing and printing of digital files, checking fonts, links, and colors, creating bleeds, crops, imposing art and exporting as PDF files
Communicating courteously with clients to assist them with the creation of their jobs
Reviewing job specifications from work orders and ensuring that client files are accurate, and the finished job exceeds customer expectations
Performing and or assisting in all aspects of the print production process, including; digital printing, finishing and bindery, cutting, folding, stapling, padding, etc
Equipment maintenance and inventory management
Keep an organized digital file system, using our documented process
General shop cleaning and organization

Qualification

Adobe Creative SuiteInDesignIllustratorPrint production experienceCustomer serviceOrganizational skillsTime managementCommunication skills

Required

High level of proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite; primarily InDesign and Illustrator
Associates degree in graphic design or related field
2 years of recent verifiable professional print design and production experience
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Passion for print and promotional product design and production
Excellent customer service and communication skills to effectively work in a team environment
