The role involves PC builds, refreshes, imaging, deployment, and ensuring end user readiness while minimizing engineer downtime and maintaining secure endpoint environments.

Responsibilities
Prepare and deploy new PCs for incoming engineers and refresh end of life equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on Windows based PCs
Perform PC imaging, reimaging, operating system upgrades, and software installations
Customize systems with additional hardware such as RAM, ports, and peripherals
Identify, package, and test engineering and business applications for deployment through Software Center
Develop and validate scripts to automate software installation processes
Apply and verify software updates, security patches, and configuration upgrades
Assist with IT hardware inventory management and seed stock maintenance
Support hardware ordering decisions and notify appropriate teams when reorders are needed
Participate in technical discussions related to refresh processes and tooling improvements
Qualification
Required
Hands on experience building, repairing, and supporting PCs in an enterprise environment
Strong troubleshooting skills across both hardware and software
Experience with PC imaging, deployment, and refresh activities
Comfort working onsite in a fast paced support environment
Strong customer service mindset with clear communication skills
Ability to work independently after direction from a team lead
Preferred
Previous IMAC, desktop support, or PC distribution experience
Experience supporting engineers or technical users
Familiarity with application packaging and scripted installations
Experience in large corporate or manufacturing IT environments
High school diploma required, degree preferred but not required
Dell certification preferred or actively pursuing
PC servicing or hardware focused certifications preferred
