Responsibilities
Serve as the primary resource for CPT coding questions, insurance billing protocols, and regulatory updates
Provide expert guidance on Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) billing, including time-based and device-based CPT codes
Audit existing billing and coding practices to identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities
Support investigation and resolution of billing denials and payer-specific requirements
Research and develop clear documentation and recommendations related to CPT codes and reimbursement practices
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a small, startup-style environment
Qualification
Required
Proven expertise in CPT coding and a strong understanding of the full medical billing lifecycle
Ability to operate independently in a fractional, on-call consulting role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex billing concepts into clear, actionable guidance
Comfort working with a small, collaborative team in a startup environment
Must be based in the United States (remote role)
Preferred
Hands-on experience with Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) coding and reimbursement is strongly preferred
