Manufacturing Coordinator II

Responsibilities
Order Planning and Scheduling
Review manufacturing queues daily
Work with production and maintenance to understand labor and equipment constraints
Develop and implement processes and tools to identify, schedule and prioritize large quantity, expedites, short lead time, and remake jobs appropriately
Develop, implement, and/or improve processes and tools to analyze demand and make recommendations for flexing machines between product types
Work cross-functionally to identify root causes of build and reject issues and implement corrective actions
Lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects
Identify potential late orders, communicate to Customer Service and work with production and shipping to mitigate
Single point of contact for all Customer Service inquiries. Work cross-functionally to formulate response and schedule accordingly
Work with Customer Service to resolve ship holds or move due dates
Lead cross-functional projects to minimize potential late orders and improve responsiveness to Customer Service requests
Identify potential material supply issues and work with Supply Chain to resolve
Drive inventory accuracy, and optimization projects
Participate in Supply Chain CI projects
Manage outsourcing activities (i.e Anodizing)
Lead cross-functional inventory continuous improvement projects
Manage site consumable material and supply inventory
Manage outsourcing activities (i.e. Anodizing)
Collaborate with cross department teams to help improve outsourcing activities processes
Provide additional support for strategic customers and important orders
Collaborate with Customer Service Team Leaders to identify process gaps in order handling
Work with CQE group to mitigate order issues (i.e. Use-as-is quality exceptions)
Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years manufacturing planning/scheduling experience
APICS certification
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong information technology skills and knowledge
Ability to train others on information technology tools and systems
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions or recommendations
Ability to use data to identify opportunities and drive improvements
Ability to lead cross-functional problem-solving and improvement efforts
Advanced understanding of production processes and equipment
Ability to identify opportunities within ambiguity and rapid change and act on those opportunities
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and to delegate when necessary
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience
