Sales Engineer - Food & Beverage Capital Equipment
Metric Geo is partnered with a leading provider of robotic and automated packaging solutions for the food and non-food industries. They are seeking a Sales Engineer who will focus on extending sales to customers and providing technical guidance while managing project services.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to facilitate the sale of robotic systems and automation solutions by partnering with internal engineering teams and third-party suppliers
Provide technical expertise, project management guidance, and support tools to ensure automation systems meet customer needs while minimizing commercial risk
Conduct on-site visits, system assessments, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to drive solution-based sales and support capital automation projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline with at least five years' experience creating, planning, and executing automated systems projects
Substantial mechanical, electrical, or automation expertise, with hands-on ability to review and modify technical drawings
Experience managing multi-entity projects, willingness to travel extensively, and comfort working in food processing or industrial environments
