Responsibilities
Design and deploy multi-step agentic workflows with: State management, Error detection and recovery, Validation and self-check loops, Context and memory management, Prevent exponential failure in long-running workflows, Ensure systems can verify success autonomously and escalate to humans when needed
Select and route tasks across LLMs and reasoning models based on: Task complexity, Cost, Latency, Reliability Combine multiple models within a single workflow when appropriate
Implement agentic context engineering to ensure AI systems receive: Only the most relevant information, The right information at the right step, Prevent performance degradation (“AI rot”) in long-running systems Design memory strategies that preserve constraints, decisions, and learnings
Deconstruct complex workflows into detailed SOPs and micro-steps. Create clear specification documents defining: Inputs and outputs, Constraints, Success criteria, Failure states Ensure processes are fully understood before automation
Build AI systems that integrate into real products and workflows. Work directly with APIs, tools, and data pipelines. Debug and redirect AI-generated technical outputs. Deploy and maintain systems in production environments
Define binary and rubric-based success criteria for AI outputs. Implement system-level observability and QA. Track performance, reliability, and failure modes over time
Optimize AI systems for dollars per outcome, not novelty. Route tasks to the lowest-cost model that meets quality thresholds. Implement caching, batching, and context trimming
Act as a bridge between product vision and technical execution. Translate creative intent into technically sound AI architectures. Ensure end-user experiences are reliable, scalable, and polished
Qualification
Required
Proven experience building agentic AI systems (not just prompts)
Strong programming background (Python required)
Deep understanding of LLMs vs reasoning models
Ability to turn ambiguous problems into binary, testable systems
Excellent written communication and documentation skills
Preferred
Experience with vector databases and retrieval systems
Experience deploying AI systems at scale
Familiarity with multiple orchestration frameworks
Hands-on experience with Cursor and/or Google Antigravity for agentic development workflows
