LMK Recruiting Solutions is seeking an Inside Sales Manager who will lead a high-volume inside sales and customer service team. This role focuses on improving processes, enhancing customer experience, and driving revenue in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop inside sales and customer service teams across two growing business units
Set clear expectations and performance goals (quotes, orders, responsiveness, customer satisfaction)
Provide ongoing training on products, systems, and customer communications
Build a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and customer-first execution
Oversee a high-volume quoting and order environment (400+ quotes / 300+ orders per month)
Ensure accurate pricing, configurations, and order entry
Review technical specs and drawings to support accurate quotes
Partner with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to confirm lead times and product details
Improve and standardize quoting and order workflows to increase speed and accuracy
Serve as a key internal contact for distributors, reps, and key customers
Support outside sales with quotes, documentation, and project coordination
Assist with escalated customer or order issues as needed
Proactively communicate with customers to strengthen relationships and retention
Track and analyze quote-to-order conversion, team performance, and service metrics
Share insights and recommendations with leadership
Partner with Marketing and IT to improve CRM usage and reporting
Help unify inside sales best practices across two companies

Required

Experience leading inside sales or customer service teams in a high-volume environment
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Experience with CRM and ERP systems
Ability to understand technical products, drawings, or specifications (training provided)

Preferred

Background in industrial, manufacturing, automation, or technical sales
