Responsibilities
Drive period, quarter, and year-end accounting processes, ensuring compliance with appropriate policy and accuracy of financial information within established deadlines
Review and approve journal entries
Analyze, interpret, and understand financial data to ensure reported amounts are accurate and aligned with expectations
Support the review of business transactions to ensure compliance with US GAAP and firm policies
Support capitalization accounting and compliance with US GAAP and firm policy; lead the quarterly review for intangible asset impairments
Collaborate effectively with teams across Finance & Administration to review accounting transactions
Demonstrate responsiveness by proactively assisting the team with critical deliverables for the Lead Controller or US Firms’ Controller
Support the implementation and execution of key controls and processes as applicable
Responsible for various analyses, ad-hoc reporting, and special reporting requests
Participate in broader Controllership transformation initiatives and other ad hoc projects
Support in executing process improvement opportunities to improve efficiency, increase digitization, enhance value created, and delivered by Controllership
Identify opportunities to transform processes utilizing technology enablers
Partner with peers within and across other A&C teams to share ideas and collaborate on ways to improve Controllership processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
4+ years of relevant Finance or Accounting experience
Understanding of US GAAP and methodologies for technical research
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred
Professional services firm experience
CPA and/or MBA
Possess data analysis skillsets and experience with the use of advanced technologies
Data analysis, management, and visualization
Advanced in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Proficiency in Tableau or PowerBI
Understanding and proficiency of SAP and other financial applications
Advanced understanding of data science and visualization tools (Python, SQL)
Machine learning algorithms
Artificial intelligence software
