Responsibilities

Developing financial models and communicating results through clear, and concise verbal and written reports
Evaluating financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with budgets and forecasts
Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages
Performing scenario and sensitivity analysis, and other reporting to support strategic decision-making for our clients
Evaluating existing processes and recommending opportunities for improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness
Reviewing legal documents and highlighting salient points
Reviewing accounting reports
Maintaining confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions
Performing ad hoc analyses as requested

Required

Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to effectively articulate ideas, results of financial analysis, and actionable recommendations
Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills including a deep understanding of accounting and financial statement audit concepts and application
Strong team player with demonstrated ability to influence others and prioritize projects
Ability to work independently and identify information and/or resources needed to complete assignments
Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast paced / growth environment
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
3-5 years' experience with national accounting firm performing audit or transaction work
Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling experience (3+ years)
Strong business partnering skills and collaboration with multiple clients
Ability to update reports / dashboards and provide analysis

Preferred

A CPA and / or Master's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
