Responsibilities
Build and maintain integrations with popular platforms like Stripe, Hubspot, and Odoo
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems
Collaborate with front-end devs to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Manage and optimize database performance, ensuring data integrity and security
Develop solutions for improving the overall system architecture to support the legacy site
Implement best practices for backend performance, including caching & load balancing
Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure seamless functionality and uptime
Qualification
Required
3+ years experience as a backend dev (preferably for event management software)
Proficiency with Python development and Stripe connect integrations
Knowledge of security best practices for stripe and other payment platforms
Hands on experience building integrations with tools like Hubspot, and Odoo
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git or similar tool)
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Resilient, solutions-oriented attitude with the desire to evolve with a product and team
Ability to work full-time PST
Preferred
Experience building software for event management applications
