Interns will provide a safe and fun camping experience while implementing daily program activities and ensuring the well-being of campers.

Responsibilities
Assist with and supervise campers during all camp activities (ex. crafts, cooking, hiking, archery, horseback-riding, games, swimming/boating)
Interact with campers throughout the day, helping them make friends, try new things, and generally caring for their well-being
Oversee and assist with campers' safety and personal care needs
Work with a team of counselors and program managers to implement outdoor recreation activities to develop physical, social, and emotional skills
Gain hands-on leadership skills while positively influencing the youth
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to work outdoors, which requires frequent walking, standing, and movement throughout the campsite
Intern will abide by the contractual agreement between Catholic Charities and the higher education program
Preferred
Prefer students pursuing a degree in special education, physical/ occupational therapy, social work, or a related field
Prefer applicants with experience working with people with developmental disabilities
