Social Media Content Specialist I

Responsibilities
Identify content to promote via social media channels
Schedule editorial content for social media channels
Create social media posts in Sprout Social according to brand standards and campaigns under the direction of the Social Media Content Specialist III
Build relationships with TEES agencies, departments, and college-side orgs to create collaborative content
Proactively visit engineering buildings/labs to capture new, diverse content
Engage actively with affiliate accounts and industry partners across all platforms
Cultivate intentional community connections
Manage and respond to inbox communications and inquiries
Attend student events, capture photo and video content, and conduct interviews under the direction of the Social Media Content Specialist III
Assist with basic graphic design and video editing as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
No prior experience required
Preferred
Experience in social media management
Experience in networking and community building
Organization and multi-tasking skills
