Responsibilities
Design and implement a “Lakehouse” architecture combining data lake for raw data and data warehouse for structured analytics
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery mechanisms for business continuity
Define and enforce access control and identity management based on least-privilege principles
Establish continuous monitoring for real-time security and compliance alerts
Define clear governance rules for data ownership, stewardship, and lifecycle management
Ensure compliance with LGPD, U.S. privacy laws, and banking regulations
Implement metadata management and data catalog tools for discoverability and lineage tracking
Deploy validation frameworks for automated checks on accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Create monitoring dashboards to track data health and pipeline performance
Define incident management processes for anomaly detection and resolution
Enable self-service BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) for business users
Build infrastructure for machine learning model training and deployment pipelines
Provide a secure data science sandbox for experimentation without impacting production
Implement FinOps practices for efficient cloud cost management
Optimize queries and storage for performance and cost efficiency
