Responsibilities
Intimate understanding of financial statement construction and ability to perform detailed financial analysis
Development of cost of capital
Prepare calculations under all three valuation approaches
Research and quantification of valuation discounts
Prepare valuation reports in accordance with standards set forth by credentialing bodies
Litigation support experience including lost profits calculations and other damages assessments, divorce consulting (including valuation and net disposable income calculations), and provision of expert testimony is preferred but not required
Participates in and seeks out activities advancing the reputation of the Firm as well as opportunities for professional growth and development
Coaches, advises, mentors, and supports the senior and staff associates by leading by example while challenging and motivating colleagues to set high expectations for the quality of deliverables
Supervises, trains, and prepares biannual performance evaluations for senior and staff associates
Provides purpose while earning trust of clients and Firm employees with a never ending focus on teamwork and commitment
Communicates professionally with poise and tact; motivated, ambitious, decisive, a self-starter and committed to high quality work products
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree; Accounting and Finance preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, written and oral communication skills
At least five years of relevant experience
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred
CVA, ASA, and/or ABV preferred
Litigation support experience including lost profits calculations and other damages assessments, divorce consulting (including valuation and net disposable income calculations), and provision of expert testimony is preferred but not required
