Mondo is seeking an IT Category Manager to lead and manage the global IT procurement category portfolio. The role involves sourcing software, hardware, IT services, and managed solutions while driving cost savings and vendor optimization.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end IT sourcing lifecycle: RFx, negotiations, and contract execution
Develop and maintain supplier relationships to optimize terms and consolidate buying power
Partner with internal stakeholders (IT, Finance, Legal, Cybersecurity, COUs) as a trusted advisor
Lead sourcing initiatives, process improvements, and toolset implementations
Ensure compliance with global sourcing policies and governance approvals
Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and strategic sourcing recommendations

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, IT, or related field (Associates considered if experience aligns)
5+ years of IT sourcing experience (software, hardware, IT services) with RFP/RFQ and contract negotiation experience
Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable with C-level interaction
Knowledge of sourcing methodology, commercial contracting, and cost reduction strategies
Financial analysis skills, Excel proficiency, attention to detail, strong documentation skills

Preferred

Experience negotiating with vendors like Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft, ServiceNow, and consulting firms (e.g., Client, Infosys)
Experience with SaaS agreements and IT maintenance/licensing contracts
Operational experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Hands-on experience implementing sourcing tools or process improvements
