Workplace Experience & Operations Coordinator
HECO is seeking a Workplace Experience & Operations Coordinator to enhance the everyday employee experience. In this role, you will manage office operations, support recruiting efforts, and facilitate internal communications and events.

Responsibilities
Open the office, review messages, and confirm the day’s room reservations and meeting setups
Support recruiting: update candidate and requisition records, prepare onboarding materials, coordinate interviews, and produce weekly/monthly activity reports
Draft internal announcements, send calendar invites, and circulate newsletters or flyers to support HR and engagement initiatives
Welcome guests, answer calls and emails, manage conference room logistics, and keep common areas tidy and stocked
Track participation in quarterly surveys, compile roll-up summaries for leaders, register employees for events, and follow up on attendance
Coordinate vendor visits and basic facilities requests; maintain visitor logs and badge access; file, distribute mail, and handle document routing
Qualification
Required
1–3 years in office administration or a similar administrative capacity
A proactive, solutions-first mindset and confidence juggling multiple priorities
Strong organization, accuracy, and follow-through
Clear written and verbal communication with a warm, team-focused approach
Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information
Preferred
Familiarity with ATS or HRIS tools is helpful
