Foundation Executive Director
The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler is a nonprofit organization dedicated to leadership in the disabilities arena in New York state. They are seeking a Foundation Director to oversee operations, strategy, and fundraising initiatives essential to their mission-driven leadership, while collaborating closely with the Chapter's CEO and managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Oversee the operations, strategy, and fundraising initiatives essential to our mission-driven leadership
Collaborate closely with the Chapter's CEO and serve on the Agency's Executive Management Team
Develop and implement the foundation's strategic goals and objectives
Manage fundraising operations and lead fundraising efforts
Supervise dedicated staff and volunteers
Ensure the distribution of funds aligns with both legal requirements and the intent of our community and donors
Act as a key ambassador and advocate, forging strong relationships with stakeholders, grantees, donors, and the broader community to enhance nonprofit advocacy and stakeholder engagement
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related field is required
Exceptional written, interpersonal, and leadership skills that reflect positively on both the Foundation and the Agency
Building and maintaining positive relationships with diverse stakeholders-including the Foundation Board of Directors, family members, media, and community leaders
Strong organizational and strategic thinking abilities
Ability to engage and connect with various audiences
Motivated leader who can inspire and guide staff and volunteers to achieve the foundation's goals
Ensuring alignment with our mission, vision, and values while fostering an energetic and professional work environment
Familiarity with relevant software and tools to enhance efficiency in managing operations and tracking fundraising success
