Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the transition, reimplementation, and stabilization of core enterprise systems, including CRM and SIS platforms, while minimizing disruption to institutional operations
Guide cross-functional teams through system changes by aligning technical work, functional requirements, timelines, and vendor activities
Identify operational risks, dependencies, and gaps in documentation or process, and proactively develop mitigation strategies to keep projects moving forward
Ensure enterprise systems are supported by clearly defined workflows, ownership models, and escalation paths
Develop and maintain actionable project plans that reflect constraints, evolving requirements, and parallel workstreams
Track progress across multiple initiatives, ensuring milestones, dependencies, and risks are visible to stakeholders and leadership
Coordinate vendor engagements, including implementation partners and software providers, to ensure deliverables align with institutional expectations
Support data validation, testing coordination, and cutover activities during system transitions to ensure continuity and accuracy
Partner with university departments to document current-state and future-state workflows supported by enterprise systems
Communicate effectively and deploy interpersonal skills to see the big picture and translate technical specifications to a non-technical audience, and vice versa
Coordinate the development and delivery of training materials, user documentation, and communication plans that support adoption and confidence
Facilitate conversations that translate technical capabilities into operational understanding for non-technical stakeholders
Establish repeatable project practices, documentation standards, and governance structures to improve consistency across enterprise initiatives
Capture lessons learned from system transitions to inform future technology decisions and implementation approaches
Lead or support evaluation and scoping efforts for future SIS, CRM and enterprise IT solutions

Preferred

Experience leading or supporting enterprise system implementations or major platform transitions, particularly involving CRM, SIS, ERP, or other institution-wide systems
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects that involve multiple stakeholders, vendors, and overlapping timelines
Familiarity with higher education administrative and academic business processes, including experience working with systems such as SIS, CRM, LMS, or related platforms
Understanding data flows, integrations, and reporting dependencies between enterprise systems, including coordination of data validation and cutover activities
Experience working within regulated environments and awareness of data privacy, security, and compliance considerations (e.g., FERPA, GLBA, or similar)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable information for non-technical audiences
Formal training or certification in project or program management (e.g., PMP, Agile, or equivalent experience) is preferred
