Responsibilities
Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by following Allied Universal site-specific policies, access control procedures, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location
Control entry and exit at gates, lobbies, and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing temporary badges and/or passes, and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other access control systems, and report irregular activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision to help to deter unauthorized access
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and coordinating with on-site personnel as directed
Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, restricted areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify access control concerns
Qualification
Required
Be 21+ years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
