Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize applied AI systems used in real-world, customer-facing products
Develop and iterate on multi-agent architectures that are reliable, scalable, and production-ready
Own AI features end-to-end, from early prototypes to polished production releases
Work closely with product, design, and engineering partners to ensure seamless integration of AI into the user experience
Tackle ambiguity head-on and drive projects from 0 → 1 in a fast-moving startup environment
Contribute across the stack as needed to bring features fully to life
Continuously evaluate new AI techniques and tools to improve system reliability and performance
Qualification
Required
Several years of professional experience as a software engineer with hands-on applied AI work
Strong understanding of LLM behavior, limitations, and practical strategies for improving reliability
Experience building and shipping full-stack or backend-heavy systems in production environments
Comfort working in fast-paced startup settings with a high degree of ownership
Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas and collaborate cross-functionally
Passion for building high-quality, customer-impacting products rather than experimental research projects
Preferred
Experience with multi-agent systems, prompt or context engineering, or AI orchestration frameworks
Background working with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, TypeScript) and backend systems
Familiarity with Python-based AI tooling and modern cloud infrastructure
Experience with strongly typed backend languages (e.g., C#, C++, or similar)
Prior experience at high-growth startups or well-regarded technology companies
