The role provides a comprehensive education experience in the banking sector, allowing interns to gain firsthand experience with financial statements and support the Credit Department's various projects.

Responsibilities
Gain first-hand experience with financial statements, reviewing and interpreting loan reports, and provide support to the Credit Department
Assist in completing annual reviews of existing commercial borrower relationships
Support other Croghan Departments and offices through various ongoing projects and other day-to-day processes in the Credit Department
Qualification
Required
Current Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors pursuing degrees/majors related to Business, Finance, Accounting, etc
The ability to commute to our locations in Fremont, OH on a regular basis
A solid understanding of Microsoft products such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
The flexibility to work in a team setting or independently depending on current assignment
A commitment to maintain confidentiality
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
A willingness to learn and follow all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control
Preferred
Students with prior financial related experience and/or coming into the Senior year/graduation are preferred
