Responsibilities

Define a data-driven product vision; develop business cases, requirements, and prioritize competing initiatives
Partner cross-functionally with business, operations, engineering, BI, and leadership teams to identify and influence the development of new products and services
Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex backend capabilities into clear product requirements
Author detailed user stories and product requirements, while actively contributing to technical design discussions
Work closely with engineering teams on backend-focused systems to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
Anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, make informed trade-offs, and balance business needs against technical and operational constraints
Coordinate with stakeholders on incident management, system issues, and production support
Utilize Agile methodologies and tools including Jira and Confluence
Understand and advocate for data quality, system reliability, and performance considerations

Required

3+ years of progressive experience delivering IT or software-driven initiatives in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Strong experience authoring user stories and documenting requirements in Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
Demonstrated success delivering against performance goals and objectives
Working knowledge of SQL and data-driven decision making
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience working in Scrum / Agile environments
Solid understanding of the SDLC and tooling (Jira, Confluence, GitHub, etc.)
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage competing initiatives

Preferred

Experience working on large, complex, high-performance enterprise software platforms
Strong exposure to backend-focused systems and services (API-driven architectures, integrations, data-heavy platforms, etc.)
Experience working with or integrating NetSuite or similar ERP platforms
Background in telecommunications systems or products
Experience with billing systems, fulfillment platforms, or large enterprise backend systems
Exposure to logistics, supply chain, or third-party logistics (3PL) systems
Experience working in environments where scalability, reliability, and performance are critical
