The Civil Engineer 3 will manage designers and engineers in site analysis and project compliance, while overseeing civil and environmental services and ensuring project schedules and budgets are met.

Responsibilities

Manage designers and engineers to develop and evaluate site constraint analysis, including zoning, topography, environmental, soils
Coordination and supervision of civil, environmental and survey services by Consultants, including development of scopes of services, contract management, and invoice review
Manage project schedule and budgets
Responsible for project compliance with all applicable AHJ requirements
Engineer-of-Record for soil erosion & sediment control and stormwater plans, details and calculations for permit submittal to AHJ
Direct Civil Designers and Engineers to prepare and revise site/civil plans and calculations
Prepare revisions and responses to AHJ comments

Qualification

Registered Professional EngineerAutoCAD Civil 3DCivil Engineering degreePV project designSupervisory skillsProject managementCommunication skills

Required

BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
Registered Professional Engineer
Minimum eight (8) years relevant work experience
Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Comfortable presenting to and interacting with consultants, authorities with jurisdiction, and regulatory agencies
Ability to obtain out-of-state PE license(s)

Preferred

Experience with design of PV projects (desired)
