Responsibilities
Own a workstream within larger digital transformation engagements
Manage tasks, timelines, risks, and deliverables
Create polished, executive-ready PowerPoint materials
Conduct user, stakeholder, and operational research
Lead interviews, usability testing, journey mapping, and experience analysis
Identify gaps in member and operational experiences
Turn insights into actionable recommendations
Create journey maps, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams
Validate solutions through user testing and feedback
Help define future-state digital experience visions and roadmaps
Identify operational and technical barriers to digital adoption
Support KPI and performance measurement efforts
Facilitate workshops and working sessions
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Build strong relationships through clear communication and quality work
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in healthcare payer consulting, digital strategy, UX, or consumer experience
Experience across at least two payer operational areas (e.g., claims, enrollment/billing, contact center, UM/PA, benefits, provider ops)
Hands-on experience with user research, journey mapping, and experience analysis
Strong understanding of digital platforms and AI-enabled capabilities
Excellent PowerPoint and executive communication skills
Ability to work independently and lead project workstreams
Comfortable working across business, operations, and digital teams
Willingness to travel up to 50%
Preferred
Background in healthcare service design or digital experience strategy
UX portfolio with wireframes, flows, or prototypes
Experience measuring digital adoption and experience performance
Familiarity with healthcare compliance and accessibility standards
