Responsibilities
Organize and perform field work, both supervised and unsupervised
Navigate by vehicle and foot to specific locations, likely requiring several miles of hiking each day, to collect vegetation and soils data
Collect and manage data
Collect ecological geospatial data
Qualification
Required
Associates Degree in natural resources; environmental studies or equivalent combination of education and 6 months' experience
Experience managing and prioritizing tasks from multiple sources
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Field experience in the sagebrush ecosystem
Experience identifying plants to species level in the sagebrush ecosystem
Experience collecting and managing field data, preferably using ArcGIS platforms such as Survey123 and Field Maps
Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment
