Responsibilities
Owns reviewing drawings, specifications, Sequence of Operations, and design specifications to create testing documents for commissioning testing requirements
Owns the development of System Start Up Matrices to assist with schedule development with the Project Managers for their specified disciplines
Owns building out the commissioning software with the correct dependencies for proper tracking and equipment/system turn over
Owns schedule integration into the commissioning software to assist with Key Project Indicators
Runs commissioning meetings with subcontractors to ensure proper project turnover
Tracks commissioning issues for quick and efficient closure
Mentoring and leading junior engineers
Key contact for field coordination and client needs
Responsible for verification in the field and commissioning software that all deliverables are uploaded, filled out accurately, and field installations meet the design requirements
Key communication point for needed project deliverables
Travel as required
Other duties which may be assigned as needed
May supervise others
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in any engineering field and 4 years of experience in commissioning preferred, or a combination of education and experience
Advanced knowledge of the commissioning processes and procedures for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing
Excellent organizational, leadership, communications and analytical skills
Ability to train, coach, and lead staff
