Customer Project Manager

Responsibilities
Manages customer programs, which may consist of multiple projects grouped to deliver business benefits
Oversees contracts that may be designated as key projects by Business Groups (BG) or markets, ensuring delivery of operational and project scope across single or multiple BGs/BUs
Ensures all project and operational activities align fully with Nokia’s Mode of Operation
Develops and maintains project plans, anticipating and managing changes through coordinated change management across cost, scope, schedule, and quality (CSSQ)
Evaluates delivery approach options and selects the most effective method for execution
Manages handovers from Sell to Execute and from Delivery to Care, monitoring progress throughout the process
Customizes global operational processes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to meet project requirements (e.g., network operations, supply chain, logistics, acceptance)
Serves as the primary customer interface during delivery, managing relationships, addressing complaints, implementing corrective actions, and accommodating changing requirements
Leads the project team and may assume certain line management responsibilities
Ensures proper project closure and/or handover as required
Qualification
Required
10–12 years of experience in a software technology company
Strong understanding of communications software, with proven experience managing customer programs
Ability to plan, lead, and deliver customer projects successfully
Solid business acumen and a deep understanding of complex business dynamics and customer needs
Proven ability to unite and lead cross-functional teams
Creative, innovative thinker with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Highly self-motivated, independent, and driven, with an exceptional work ethic and a strong desire to succeed
Preferred
Experience in the telecom industry
Advanced degree (master's or Ph.D.)
