Responsibilities
Create and maintain detailed electrical schematics for autonomous vehicle robotic platforms
Develop logical system diagrams that clearly communicate system architecture and subsystem interactions
Design and document physical schematics for vehicle electrical and electronic subsystems
Collaborate with harness and systems engineers to ensure accurate representation of connections, interfaces, and signal flows
Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to improve system robustness and clarity
Maintain schematic documentation using industry-standard tools, conventions, and best practices
Ensure schematics comply with automotive standards, internal guidelines, and best practices
Support manufacturing, verification, and service teams with accurate, usable schematic documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
6–8 years of experience creating electrical schematics for automotive applications
Proficient in schematic capture and documentation tools
Strong understanding of automotive electrical and electronic systems and components
Experience with wiring harness design and documentation
Experience working with the Capital Tools suite, specifically Capital Logic
