Luxoft is seeking a Python/C++ Algorithm Engineer to update test and calibration algorithms for various sensors in customer products. The role involves facilitating the development of new algorithms, debugging issues, and developing calibration algorithms for sensors.

Responsibilities

Facilitate development of algorithms for new projects
Fast debugging and triage of issues
Develop calibration algorithms for sensors including ALS, Health, Prox
Add unit and integration tests for new algorithms
Development of SW framework for visualization tools
Document the framework and creation of tutorials for onboarding

Qualification

Python3C++OpenCVPandasNumpySW developmentProblem solvingCollaborative environmentSelf-motivated

Required

Python3, OpenCV, pandas, numpy
Hands-on experience in SW development (signal processing, computer vision), robotics or equivalent
Ability to prototype algorithms in C++, Python, including initial data analysis to discover trends that need to be captured
Follow software best practices, version control, test-driven development, documentation, etc
Good fundamental knowledge and problem solving skills in engineering (i.e. ability to break a problem down into smaller pieces)

Preferred

Hands-on, self-motivated, independent, and dedicated
Ability to work well in a diverse, collaborative and dynamic environment
