Responsibilities
Work directly as part of an engineering team that delivers new features and functionality with high quality and robust architecture which support SiriusXM and Pandora platforms
Develop innovative solutions that continue to scale to the increasing demands of the business
Strive to develop simple solutions to complex problems, constantly seek ways to improve at every iteration, make suggestions for improvements
Participate in architecture and technical discussions
Learn and operate in all phases of the software development lifecycle
Work within the Innovation Group team to evaluate technology trade-offs in simulations and hardware prototypes
Perform comparative testing of different hardware configurations
Use source control systems (Git and GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) to continuously deploy applications to production
Qualification
Required
Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by May 2027 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship
Major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
Previous experience in software or cloud development - work projects, internships, summer jobs, etc
Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++/C#, JavaScript or Python
Familiarity with Linux, bash shell/scripting and GCC
Familiar with Matlab
You must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a legal right to work in the US
