Responsibilities
Engage with policyholder customers and agent partners
Conduct workplace risk assessments
Assist customers in establishing and maintaining effective safety and risk control programs
Coordinate and conduct training programs that will increase proficiency in safe practices and promote safety consciousness
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Safety, Risk Management, Agriculture or related field; NOTE: Relevant, progressively responsible work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education
Two years of multi-line, hands-on loss control experience of farm owners or commercial Agribusiness exposures
Solid working knowledge of insurance and risk control principles and concepts
Solid working knowledge of industry-wide safety principles, practices, and procedures
Excellent communication, consulting, interpersonal and organizational skills
Solid working knowledge of relevant State and Federal laws and regulations
Ability to analyze, define and solve problems; the use of good judgment and decision-making
Valid driver's license and safe driving record required
Regular travel required to service the business needs
Exposure to, or experience working in Agribusiness
Preferred
Industry designations such as ARM, ALCM, AFIS, or CSP are desired
