Responsibilities
Develop and execute a statewide housing strategy for re-entrants
Collaborate with local, state, and federal partners to strengthen housing initiatives
Advise senior leadership on legislative impacts and recommend policy and program improvements
Oversee data tracking systems to monitor housing outcomes and identify areas for enhancement
Manage housing operations, including RFP processes, statewide bed inventory, and vendor relationships
Conduct site visits and quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance and service standards
Supervise transitional housing staff responsible for placement of incarcerated individuals nearing release
Drive strategic improvements to expand housing options and improve success rates for re-entrants
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and three (3) years of program experience related to the area of assignment, including one year of supervisory program experience (OR) an equivalent combination of training and experience
Preferred
Strong knowledge of human resources, purchasing, budgeting, and accounting practices related to housing programs
In-depth understanding of housing program operations, policies, and compliance requirements
Proven ability to lead and manage professional and support staff to achieve program objectives
Expertise in program analysis, evaluation, and continuous improvement strategies
Skilled in selecting, training, and supervising employees engaged in housing initiatives
