Start in 2026 SummerWells Enterprises is the largest privately held ice cream manufacturer in the United States, and they are seeking an intern for their Logistics Department. This internship will provide fundamental experience and involve working on special projects, supporting departmental functions, and creating a presentation outlining 'lessons learned' during the internship.

Responsibilities
Perform operational and administrative functions as it relates to academic major
Work on special projects as assigned by functional leader
Assist in implementing functional strategies and support the team in reaching goals and objectives
Support the departmental deliverables and help in planning and supporting tasks
This internship will provide fundamental experience within our Logistics Department
Intern will be tied to a specific department for 10 weeks with additional 1 week rotations in the remaining departments
The rotations will include Transportation and Shipping & Receiving
Responsible for creating and providing a Power Point presentation outlining 'lessons learned' during the internship to the Logistics Steering Team at the end of their internship
Primary responsibility for the Logistic intern will be to get an overall experience on how each department impacts the logistics departments and our customers
Qualification
Required
Have an applicable degree program and coursework that corresponds with the internship applied for
Prefer entering their Junior/Senior year of a 4 year degree program
Prefer a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Some familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Attention to detail
The ability to multi-task
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to interact with a variety of individuals in a professional manner
