Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with SS&C's overall business objectives, identifying new opportunities and driving innovation within your area of responsibility
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching
Oversee the day-to-day operations of your department, ensuring efficient workflows, adherence to best practices, and the delivery of high-quality solutions and services. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and effectiveness
Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and senior leadership. Represent SS&C effectively in various forums and negotiations
Manage departmental budgets, resources, and forecasts, ensuring financial prudence and achieving budgetary targets. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth
Ensure all operations and initiatives comply with relevant industry regulations, company policies, and risk management frameworks. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks
Provide senior-level oversight for critical projects and programs, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and achievement of desired outcomes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
Master's degree (MBA) highly preferred
Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in the financial technology (FinTech) industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management or director-level role
Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating large, diverse teams to achieve strategic objectives
Deep understanding of financial services operations, investment management, or relevant FinTech solutions, depending on the specific department
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex strategic plans, analyze market trends, and make sound business decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to senior executives, clients, and large audiences
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach
Strong understanding of relevant technologies and their application within the financial services industry
