Responsibilities

Conducting safety audits in an industrial manufacturing environment
Inspect emergency equipment
Review safety protocols
Conduct training sessions on emergency procedures
Perform risk assessments
Respond to incidents
Document all activities
Hold meetings with management to discuss safety improvements and updates to emergency plans
Conduct debriefing sessions to review activities and plan for the next day
Maintain continuous communication with all departments and stay informed about industry standards to ensure the company’s safety measures are always improving

Chemical Emergency ResponseHazmat ExperienceOSHA knowledgeHAZWOPER certifiedCommunication skills

Required

High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of experience with Chemical Emergency Response
Hazmat Experience (Gas/Chemical Environment)
OSHA knowledge (Cert not required)

Preferred

HAZWOPER certified
