Responsibilities
Onboards New Volunteers: Provides efficient and exceptional customer service to all volunteer applicants through the application process. Identifies barriers in onboarding process and escalates for continuous improvement. Engages in site and system strategy to ensure volunteer resources are processed to support high priority roles Creates strong partnerships with internal stakeholders that support volunteer onboarding (HR, EOHS, etc.)
Ensures Records Meet Goals/Compliance Standards: Ensure the required volunteer documentation is in place and current. Implements and maintains competency assessment according to Joint Commission standards. Manages and maintains annual required learning documents according to hospital guidelines
Focuses on Customer Experience: Understands the importance of Customer Experience service standards, Safety Always, and guides volunteers to exhibit excellence in these areas. Provides ongoing informal and formal recognition of the volunteers. Develops and maintains standard work
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in human services, management, education, or related field
1-3 years of experience in a complex work environment
Exceptional Customer Experience skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a customer-facing complex environment
Change management, process improvement, and team building experience
Preferred
Experience in a healthcare setting
Database management (Volgistics)
Computer Skills- Advanced knowledge of Excel including pivot tables and writing formulas, as well as Microsoft Office
Business writing skills
SharePoint skills
Experience in a LEAN setting
