Responsibilities
Lead requirements gathering and analysis for USPS enterprise systems, including APIs, pricing workflows, compliance platforms, and customer-facing applications
Translate strategic stakeholder needs into comprehensive deliverables such as user stories, workflows, data models, and technical specifications
Apply AI tools and modeling techniques to automate documentation, validate requirements, and prototype intelligent workflows
Guide stakeholders through AI-enhanced simulations and visualizations to accelerate alignment and reduce rework
Architect and validate complex data flows and integration points across systems, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals
Collaborate with developers, architects, testers, and product owners to ensure seamless execution of requirements and solution delivery
Produce high-quality documentation including requirements matrices, test plans, training materials, and technical guides
Facilitate stakeholder workshops and meetings to resolve competing priorities and drive consensus
Support Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies, adapting deliverables to project needs
Lead QA and UAT efforts, ensuring solutions meet business goals and technical standards
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to process improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship or Green Card; able to obtain Public Trust clearance
7-9 years of experience in business, technical, or systems analysis, including leadership of complex projects
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, MIS, or related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders
Proven ability to design and deliver technical solutions for complex business challenges
Proficiency with XML, JSON, SQL, and relational databases
Experience integrating AI/ML tools into business analysis workflows (e.g., Python, Azure AI, TensorFlow, or similar)
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and enterprise documentation tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint, Visio/Lucid, and SQL
Preferred
Experience supporting USPS programs or large-scale mailing operations
Familiarity with COTS mailing software, Salesforce, or enterprise API environments
Experience designing architecture artifacts such as ERDs, flowcharts, and technical user stories
Prior consulting or professional services experience
