The Regional Sourcing Associate is responsible for procuring new services, addressing service-related issues, and building relationships with vendor partners across Rubicon’s hauler network.

Responsibilities
Address any service requests within the required service level agreements
Develop, maintain, and continuously seek to improve all vendor relations
Work with the Account Management teams to manage hauler performance according to contractual obligations
Provide problem-solving resources and solutions to complex vendor issues
Determine problems that demand immediate promotion to direct supervisor
Resolve invoice questions and investigate payment issues with haulers
Support the gathering and maintenance of hauler intelligence (pricing, market condition, location, and services, etc.)
Respond proactively to hauler inquiries and concerns
Partner with other departments to identify and to drive continuous improvement in the waste hauler network and processes
Ability to travel and/or work onsite as needed
Performs other duties as assigned or apparent
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED required
2+ years of experience in a professional setting
Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, employees, customers and business partners
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Willingness to cooperate with haulers and management to resolve any issues that may arise
Strong knowledge of MS office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with external and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries and requests efficiently and professionally
A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
Hauler relationship management experience preferred
