The role involves installing and maintaining material handling and sortation equipment, responding to service calls, and providing customer support for various equipment types while also assisting with training and report generation.

Responsibilities
Performs mechanical and electrical installation or modification to Intelligrated & Legacy equipment – 20%
New equipment commissioning and integration – Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC issues – 40%
Modify, adjust, or develop robotic and PLC application code – 20%
Complete various weekly reports –10%
Train and supports resident technicians – 10%
Travel 85% throughout the Southeast region, and occasionally to other regions
Qualification
Required
High school diploma (or equivalent) and 5 years of experience
Associate's Degree in Engineering and 2 years of field experience
Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical aptitude
Experience with conveyor systems and high voltage electrical motors (VFDs, Servo, etc)
Valid Driver's license
Reliable transportation to a major airport (Must be within a One Hour commute of nearest airport)
Preferred
PLC Programming skills
Diagnostic proficiency with one of the types of PLC (Modicon, PLC5, PLC500)
Working experience of electrical wiring and reading of schematics
Prior Customer Service Experience
Proficiency with MS Office products and Operating Systems (i.e. Windows XP)
Ability to work independently (self-starter) and with teams
