Senior Level, Lead/StaffLockheed Martin Space is seeking a Senior Staff Systems Engineer to join their team. The role involves developing THAAD Fire Control algorithms, modeling and simulation support for TFCC design, and analyzing performance for verification and flight test performance analysis.

Responsibilities
Developing THAAD Fire Control algorithms
Developing modeling and simulation to support the TFCC design in C
Analyzing performance and support verification
Supporting flight test performance analysis and issue resolution
Developing and maintain analysis scripts
Developing TFCC and THAAD Planner (TP) algorithms
Developing battle plans to support weapon system testing and specialized battle plans for field deployments
Qualification
Required
Developing THAAD Fire Control algorithms
Developing modeling and simulation to support the TFCC design in C
Analyzing performance and support verification
Supporting flight test performance analysis and issue resolution
Developing and maintain analysis scripts
Developing TFCC and THAAD Planner (TP) algorithms
Developing battle plans to support weapon system testing and specialized battle plans for field deployments
Knowledge and application of systems engineering processes across the full product life cycle (to include proposal, design, qualification, requirements verification/validation, production and field support)
Knowledge of Missile Defense Concepts and Interoperability or other Command and Control systems
Concept of Operations (CONOPS)/System Architecting
Algorithm development/Model Base Engineering/design knowledge
Engineering/physics-based modeling and simulation preferably with MATLAB, C, C+ tools
Experience supporting large scale software development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
Experience working on an agile team
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field including a mathematics degree with a physics-based focus from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
Preferred
Knowledge of AGILE process
