Responsibilities

Assist in gathering and organizing data from various sources, including HR systems, surveys, and performance evaluations
Clean and prepare data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Conduct statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to employee performance, turnover, and engagement
Collaborate with HR business partners to develop and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for evaluating workforce effectiveness
Support the design and implementation of surveys and assessments to measure employee satisfaction, engagement, and organizational culture
Prepare visualizations, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Assist in conducting ad-hoc analysis and research projects as needed to support strategic HR initiatives

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Kroger Co (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status)
Strong analytical skills with experience in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization (proficiency in tools such as Excel, R, Python, SQL and PowerBI)
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
Solid understanding of HR concepts and principles, with a passion for applying analytics to solve real-world business challenges
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment
Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to preserve confidentiality of information
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to present information to various levels of the organization
Managing multiple priorities between school, work or extra-curricular activities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Significant level of multi-tasking

Preferred

Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in people analytics and HR technology
Prior internship or coursework in HR analytics, organizational psychology, or data analysis is a plus
Experience with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
Involvement in leadership and community activities
Background in data analysis
Coursework and/or practical experience with digital marketing
