Responsibilities

Make complex fixes to solve problems or create significant enhancements with guidance from Subject Matter Experts in the Air Traffic Control (ATC) Product Line software
Update SW process documentation and work instructions needed to meet ATS SED’s high maturity level software engineering standards and processes
Participate in agile processes and procedures to improve daily standups, sprint planning, sprint feature development, retrospectives, back log grooming and story pointing while using Atlassian tool suite
Work with the software team and leadership in a highly collaborative team environment, requiring frequent multi-level communication with other engineering domain team members, program management and external stakeholders

Required

Recent Graduates with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the STEM areas of Computer Science, Software Engineering or Math
U.S. citizenship is absolutely required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under these programs/contracts

Preferred

Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C, C++, or Java, or similar high-level programming languages
Intern experience in Software Engineering which includes exposure to various phases of the software development lifecycle
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and automated testing concepts with Test Driven Development (TDD) concepts
Experience in a Unix/Linux development environment and command line usage
Experience with Scripting languages like Python, bash/ksh
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, including formal presentations
