Responsibilities
Serve as senior strategic counselor to executive leadership at major client organizations
Lead integrated communications and public affairs campaigns, including media relations, crisis communications, issues management, and stakeholder engagement
Develop and execute proactive media strategies across national, regional, and trade outlets
Oversee account teams, providing senior-level guidance, mentorship, and quality control
Manage and grow key client relationships; identify opportunities for expanded engagements
Play a leadership role in new business development, including pitching, proposal development, and relationship building
Collaborate with firm leadership to shape the agency’s growth strategy, service offerings, and culture
Represent the firm externally with media, partners, and industry stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Senior Experience in communications, public affairs, strategic communications, or related fields
Senior-level experience at a public affairs firm, PR agency, government entity, major corporation, or advocacy organization
Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following sectors: business, government, healthcare, gaming, education
Strong media relationships and a track record of placing and managing high-profile coverage
Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder communications challenges
Excellent writing, strategic thinking, and client leadership skills
Experience managing teams and developing senior talent
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, growth-oriented environment
Proficient with rapid response strategies
Preferred
Experience across business, government, healthcare, gaming, sports, and/or education is a strong plus
