Senior Customer Service Specialist (Asia Imports)
People Freight is a recruitment specialist in freight forwarding and logistics, seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Customer Service Specialist for their Asia Imports team. This role involves managing client relationships and ensuring compliance with international shipping processes and import regulations.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients importing goods from Asia
Coordinate and manage ocean and air freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with import regulations
Prepare, review, and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and invoices
Monitor shipments, provide proactive updates, and resolve delays or discrepancies efficiently
Collaborate with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to optimize logistics operations
Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and enhance client satisfaction
Mentor and support junior customer service staff as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding or international logistics, preferably with a focus on Asia imports
Strong knowledge of import regulations, documentation, and customs procedures
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously
