Responsibilities
Set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks
Support clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions
Work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions
Apply skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks
Use cloud service providers to further clients’ meaningful missions
Develop, deploy, or manage IT infrastructures for crucial server and network components
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in the development, configuration, implementation, and operation of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
5+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
5+ years of experience with building out and maintaining CI/CD configuration management tools within GitLab
Experience building out and maintaining infrastructure as code with Terraform, and containerization and container orchestration platforms and tools
Experience provisioning computer networking and storage, and setting up servers that the platform is on, including virtual machine (VMs) or networks
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in DevOps, or 8+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree
DoD 8170 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification, such as Security+
Compliant Computing Environment Certification, such as AWS Cloud Practitioner
Preferred
Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
Experience with creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
Experience automating CI/CD pipelines with tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab
Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or Linux Shell Script
Knowledge of common build tools such as Maven, Gradle, and NPM
