Responsibilities
Lead and coach the sales team —this is a hands-on leadership role, not an advisory one
Build and execute sales strategy specifically for labels and packaging markets
Full ownership of annual sales and gross profit budgets
Drive disciplined pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and CRM adoption
Set clear expectations, KPIs, and accountability across the sales organization
Maintain a personal book of business with an individual sales quota
Partner closely with operations, estimating, and production to ensure pricing accuracy, capacity alignment, and margin protection
Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent within the industry
Identify market opportunities, customer trends, and profitable growth lanes
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years leading and managing a sales team
Direct experience selling within the labels and packaging industry
Demonstrated success owning and achieving revenue and gross profit targets
Strong working knowledge of label and packaging materials, applications, pricing, and production realities
Proven ability to coach, motivate, and hold salespeople accountable
Experience balancing strategic leadership with hands-on selling
Candidates without direct labels or packaging industry experience will not be considered
