Responsibilities

Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Subcontracting, Program Management, suppliers, and customers to embed quality standards throughout the product sustainment process
Provide technical data and analysis to support engineering investigations and root‑cause/corrective‑preventive actions
Lead data‑integrity reviews, drive closure of non‑conformance reports, and contribute to Corrective Action Board meetings
Conduct field inspections of hardware, document findings, and serve as the technical liaison for quality‑engineering matters
Travel to inspection or delivery sites (up to 50%+ travel) to ensure product acceptance and reliability

Required

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start

Provide technical data and analysis to support engineering investigations and root-cause/corrective-preventive actions
Lead data-integrity reviews, drive closure of non-conformance reports, and contribute to Corrective Action Board meetings
Conduct field inspections of hardware, document findings, and serve as the technical liaison for quality-engineering matters
Travel to inspection or delivery sites (up to 50%+ travel) to ensure product acceptance and reliability
Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration
Effective communication skills - written, oral, listening, and presentation
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong familiarity with Production Operations
Experience with Program Office / Customer Interaction, preferably DOD
An understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience with source inspection and surveillance activities at suppliers (including acceptance of product / testing)
Thorough understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems as well as AS9145 Advanced Product Quality Planning
Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment

Preferred

STEM degree at bachelors level or higher preferred
Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification or ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
SAP / ERP, SharePoint and Tableau or other business intelligence software experience
Earned Value Management System Cost Account Manager (EVMS CAM) certification
Familiar with requirements for handling and control of Government Furnished Equipment / Property during field, ground or operational tests
Ability to obtain an international driver's license
